Takayama Tatsuo's works displayed in Wuhan Art Museum



  The exhibition on Takayama Tatsuo's works, jointly brought by Oita Art Museum and Wuhan Art Museum, kicked off in Wuhan on April 25, 2017.

  Takayama Tatsuo (1912-2007), born in Oita of Japan, is the most representative master of Japanese painting. His works feature traditional figures, landscapes, flowers, mural compositions, engravers and illustrators with a western tendency. He once made 14 trips to China.

  The exhibition displays 106 print works of this famous Japanese artist, which are divided into seven series, including paintings about eight ancient Chinese poets like Li Bai, Du Fu, Wang Wei, etc.

  The exhibition will last until May 28 in Wuhan Art Museum at no charge.
