By Vicky Huang
Do you have a fondness for Korean TV series, Korean stars, and Korean culture? If so, you might be pleased to hear that a Korean corner was established on December 5.
The new Korean corner was established by the Cheongju Economic and Trade Representative Office in Wuhan. In order to provide new opportunities for Korean language learning enthusiasts, the office has invited government officials from Chegonju, the Republic of Korea to teach. Starting next year, classes will be available every Saturday at around 7:00 A.M. Anyone interested in learning more about the Korean language and culture can participate in the Korean corner at the Cheongju Economic and Trade Representative Office in Wuhan, which is located in the New World Department Store in Xibeihu.
This year is the 15th anniversary of the establishment of a sister city relationship between Wuhan and Cheongju. In addition to setting up a Korean corner, Wuhan and Cheongju will work together to strengthen ties and increase cooperation in areas like trade, culture, science, education, and art.
